Re:Gen, a solution developed by Harmonic as part of the Farmgate Programme is now available.
Re:Gen is a smart solution designed to provide farmers with access to the relevant, timely information needed to effectively manage effluent disposal. Re:Gen simple to install and use, and solves a major problem for many dairy farmers. "Re:Gen benefits include daily management, confidence in decision making and better use of nutrients. Having more information allows you to manage farms more efficiently", says Programme Manager, Bridgit Hawkins.
Harmonic developed Re:Gen based on research undertaken by Massey University and has partnered with Gen-i to deliver the Re:Gen effluent monitoring solution. Re:Gen has been trialled on eight farms across New Zealand representing a range of soil types and effluent systems and will be available for sale March 2010.
Re:Gen Limited is a newly established company to market the Re:Gen solution. The company has flown the Harmonic 'innovation nest' and is led by CEO, Bridgit Hawkins.
