Dr Lisa Chen will present on Data Quality at the GE Grid Solutions Asia Pacific Software Summit in Brisbane, 12-15 September 2017. The Summit is energy sector focused with over 250 delegates attending including senior executives, managers and engineers from leading Australian utilities. Lisa's presentation theme is 'Measure and Improve Data Quality: The Benefits and Analytics Opportunities.' Lisa will also demonstrate a case study dashboard, and discuss tips for data quality improvement.

Lisa is a highly qualified and experienced data scientist, with a PhD in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics. Lisa has led projects across sectors in agriculture, aviation, energy, government, health, telecommunications, transportation and utilities.
To address business challenges Lisa, and Harmonic’s team of data scientists use a variety of advanced statistical methods, machine learning and operations research (OR). This requires significant experience in handling data-sets of varying quality, including transformer asset data, alarm logs and smart meter data.
